Obamacare itself violates the physicians hippocratic oath by implementing heatlthcare rationing through various mechanism outlined in the Federal Coordinating Council for Comparative Effectiveness Research.
I would love to learn what physicians think about this.

it violates the constitution by denying life in certain circumstances (like the lady in Oregon denied treatment and essentially told to go die)

It in effect make physicians directly employed by the Federal Government. With the pay czar out there to limit their pay, very few will enter the field and many will retire.

That matters to them as much as the Constitution matters to them — not at all.

I have a question. My dear friend needed life saving brain surgery but she did not have insurance and lacked the thousands the surgery would require. She called the surgeon to see if she could negotiate some sort of monetary arrangement. They told her no, the money needed to be paid up front before the surgery could be performed. She said - so my only alternative is to die. They told her -yes. Under our present system she was denied life, so how is Obamacare worse/better? Dont get me wrong, I am passionately opposed to the proposed health care changes, but I have this one question. Any answers out there?

True. End of story: friends and family put together funds, surgeons finally agreed to lesser amount and paid their own airfare to fly in to do the surgery - she is alive today.

Since some “physicians” perform abortions, I now call it the HYPOCRITICAL Oath!
To: TheDailyChange
Abortion also violates the Hippocratic Oath!

From what I’ve read, the vast majority of doctors and medical schools no longer abide by the Hippocratic Oath.
In some cases they modify the Hippocratic Oath to conform to their ‘new’ morality.
Course would-be lawyers at most of our well-known law-schools are also taught incorrectly that separation of church and state is in the U.S. Constitution.
