In just one slice of the pathetic claim of "640,000 is like a million jobs S&C'd!" we learn that there is nothing but air, and sometimes quite expensive air.
Check out these specifics, all from the data compiled and submitted by the Illinois State Board of Education:
In the official report, Wilmette Public Schools District 39 was credited with 166 jobs saved by stimulus aid. Superintendent Raymond Lechner said the number should be zero.
At Dolton-Riverdale School District 148, stimulus funds were said to have saved the equivalent of 382 full-time teaching jobs -- 142 more than the district actually has.
A similar discrepancy was found in data for Kankakee School District 111, where the stimulus report logged the equivalent of 665 full-time jobs saved. "That's impossible," a top Kankakee school official said, adding that the entire payroll -- full and part time -- is 600 workers.

Happy days in Obamaville!
Obama is going down faster than they will ever admit. The lies and spin are going to come at an astounding rate to try and get ANYTHING to stick to the wall.
Lies, more lies, and more devious crap is coming our way. After this first vote on the House Marxist takeover bill, we will start making the 2010 list.....
I guess the new unemployment numbers come out this friday.
Don’t believe anything coming out of The White House. I’d go outside and check myself if Obama said the sky was blue.

When you couple this with the numbers from the elections yesterday (and what they mean) with India’s purchase of 200 tons of Gold, the comments from Democrats on health care, etc. It is looking like we are VERY close to his day of reconing.
I’ve been vilified on a couple of liberal sites when I say Obama will not last a full term and probably won’t last through 2010, but it is looking more likely than ever. And from what I am seeing lately, it could be his health that does it.
The Secretary of Labor reports to the President, er, well, maybe to some Czar. But, If I were Obama, I'd be leaning on them 'crats to produce some sub 10 number for Friday...
The totals do not reflect any school jobs saved or created in Chicago, the state's biggest district and the recipient of at least $293 million in stimulus funds. Chicago schools budget chief Christina Herzog said the district easily saved at least 1,200 jobs because of the stimulus....
OK, so presume that the 1,200 jobs were added in. How much did those jobs cost? $293,000,000 / 1,200 = $244,167 each.
Purely coincidental, I'm sure, that each of the jobs saved on a national level was estimated to cost very nearly that amount....244K....and that was disseminated very publicly.
Geez, if these idiots are going to lie, at least get creative. Anyone can divide 293 mill by 244K and come up with "At Least 1200 jobs saved".
