Harry Reid, who demanded a timeline for withdrawal from Iraq, insists he will not be held to a timeline to vote on health care!
This is too funny!
Top Dems: No Health Care Bill in 2009 By JONATHAN KARL ABC News 11/4/09
Senior Congressional Democrats told ABC News today it is highly unlikely that a health care reform bill will be completed this year, just a week after President Barack Obama declared he was "absolutely confident" he'll be able to sign one by then. "Getting this done by the by the end of the year is a no-go," a senior Democratic leadership aide told ABC News. Two other key Congressional Democrats also told ABC News the same thing.
This may come as an unwelcome surprise for the White House, where officials from the president on down have repeatedly said the health care bill would be signed into law by the end of the year.
"I am absolutely confident that we are going to get health care done by the end of this year, and Nancy Pelosi is just as confident," Obama said Oct. 27 at a fundraiser for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

Be watchful.
Do not be lulled into their changing the name again, and passing it subvertly.
look for the demholes to try all kinds of deceit and subterfuge to sneak it by everyone. I wouldn’t be suprised if they attached the entire 2,000 pages to a defense bill as an amendment. Come January, it’s only a couple of months until the 2010 campaigns start.
“Getting this done by the by the end of the year is a no-go,”
Hey Harry, so is your re-election in Nevada a no-go.
Democrats gloating over Tea Party “loss” last night, but if health care is finally dead, I’d say the Tea Partiers scored a much bigger victory.
I heard somebody else contradict Reid, though, and say that it would be passed under Reid’s leadership. So, even if Reid says he won’t be held to a timetable, his party is still saying that the bill will be passed by November 2010.
