Romney has no chance in a (CLOSED) Republican primary.

This won’t matter to the establishment mavens of the Party. It’s Mitt’s “turn”.

Its funny how a few months changes things. When Palin announced that she was stepping down as Governor, It seemed that many on FR, maybe even a slight majority had given up on her. Had called her a quitter, who could not stand the heat and was not ready for prime time.
Not me. I never gave up believing in her. Now she is back, stronger than ever. And so our those who were amazed by her convention speech a little over a year ago. Lets stand behind her this time, all the way to the white house.

If/should that be the case, again, we’re screwed...just like with McCain. There’s no way IMHO that this country will ever elect Mitt Romeny as POTUS. What a waste of time, money, and energy for anyone to promote this guy’s candidacy.

Just like NY 23, it’s not going to be up to the Party Mavens.

This wont matter to the establishment mavens of the Party. Its Mitts turn.
This is why WE THE PEOPLE must not allow the Media to choose our Candidates in 2012. They'll try to choose the one person whom 0bama can beat. WE THE PEOPLE must not allow that "option" to occur.

I’m with you on Palin. I never gave up. I believe she is doing what is right for her and I’m hoping that whoever she is listening to isn’t going to sabotage her candidacy in 2012. I just don’t trust McCain or any of his advisers. But then I read Dick Morris wrong, so I will trust Sarah Palin’s judgment on her advisers.
Sarah Palin and now Michele Bachmann are rallying Conservatives such has hasn’t been seen in ages and ages. These are exciting times to live in.

My vote was rejected because "you already voted."
Problem is, I never voted.

That about lines up with the FB “poll” where Palin has about 10 times as many fans as Bombney.

Romney has no chance in a (CLOSED) Republican primary.Correct me if I am wrong but weren't almost all of Mitt's victories in the 2008 primaries in caucus states where his small, but loyal following could dominate proceedings? Other than his predomminately Mormon base, Mitt didn't attract much of a following at all. Obama would have crushed Mitt in the general election as the conservative base stayed home in droves.
2012 is likely to be different. The conservatice base will turn out in droves to vote if Mitt is the Republican nominee. Unfortunately for Mitt and the Republican Party, it will be to vote for a serious third-party conservative candidate who will arise in response to the national party forcing another unacceptable candidate to the head of the ticket. The conservative wing of the Republican Party will vote for an "establishment" candidate but he or she better have true conservative convictions.
