President Barack Hussein Obama (mmm, mmm, mmm) calls in a hack computer guy with marginal Photoshop skills to help him design the New American Flag. They sit in the Oval Office.
Obama: How do you use that thing? I dont see a teleprompter?
Hack: Its a laptop, Mr. President. The screens sort of like a teleprompter.
Obama: I see. Hum. I like it. Now, I was thinking we should start with the current flag and see how I can improve it.
Hack: No problem sir
Obama : Thats Mr. President.
Hack: Oh, sorry Mr. President. Okay, heres the U.S. flag we have today.

Obama: You see the basic problem, dont you. It has red strips that represents Red States. Also theres more red strips than white. Sends the wrong message.
Hack: Not an issue, Mr. President. Ill just get rid of the red ones. There, what do you think?

Obama: I dont know. How many stars are on the thing?
Hack: Well, ah there are 50, Mr. President.
Obama: See, I knew something was wrong. During the campaign I got to all but one state. Now Ive been to all 58 states. So add eight more stars.
Hack: Ah yes Mr. President.

Obama: Thats a total mess. Let me think. I know, Im a star. Matter of fact, Im The Star, so how about one big one instead?
Hack: Like this?

Obama: Crap, now it reminds me of the Texas flag. Thatll never do. Get rid of the star.

Obama: Getting there. Except that blue looks too confrontational. Give me something a little more soothing. Something that says, Hey, weve screwed-up. Were sorry for all our transgressions, real or perceived.
Hack: What do you think of this, Mr. President?

Obama: Great color. But its still missing something.
Hack: Mr President, if I may be so bold
Obama: Yeah, go ahead, but Ill take credit for it if its a good idea.
Hack: Of course, Mr. President. Id be honored for you to take credit for my idea.
Obama: Whatever. Just get on with it.

Obama: PERFECT!
Please stop by the FReepathon thread and give it a bump.
If you haven’t made a donation yet, please give it some thought.
Thanks!!
Well both tomorrow and 2010 will be BIG SUPRISES for Obama and co. PUSHBACK has started!
Am I supposed to laugh or cry?
Isn’t this the truth. Nice FromLori...
Folks I think FromLori has actually presented a great object lesson here.
Not many U.S. Citizens would put up with Obama doing this to our flag, but they are putting up with him doing the same thing to our Constitution and national policies.
What a great metaphor.
and God willing, it will be blue.
Well I am crying about it and it is pretty much the truth right with the global cap and trade it will become a reality.

This is actually one of the flags of the Confederacy called the Bonnie Blue Flag.
UN troops are no match for Americans defending their own turf. In fact, we should encourage such an invasion—it would be an efficient way to be rid of the detestable UN once and for all.
FromLori, I don’t disagree with your take on it.
I do believe that this situation is precisely why Conservatives need to play hardball right now. When we do get a president in there next, that person better be ready to take a scalpel to most of what Obama has done.
Another RINO just won’t do. We are at war with the left, and no more Gomer Pyles as Generals will do.
Here’s to a Conservative Patton just crushing the Marxist trashing of our nation.
Obviously I want that done with a Conservative Congress, all within Constitutional guidelines.
“Hurrah for the Bonnie Blue Flag that bears a single star ...”
We would have to clean out more than the U.N., if that were to happen under an Obama type. U.S. troops would be marching with the U.N. types in many instances. It would be civil war IMO.
A return to our U.S. Constitution would be the goal.
I don’t know whether to laugh or be scared.
Now that is scary as all get out —— has just enough of a ring of truth to it.....bleeech
Whether or not it is true that Obama would willingly give up a second term to put everything in place to permenantly socialize the US, we need a president and legislature with the same commitment. No poll watching, no concern for the next election, just returning the Federal government to its original purpose. Let the leftists start their agenda over again.
Also looks like the Somali national flag. Yes, they DO have one.
I agree.
Interesting thank you I did not know that.
The Zavala Flag. Proceedings of the Texas Independence Convention of 11 Mar 1836: "On the motion of Mr. Scates, the Rainbow and star of five points above the western horizon; and the star of six points sinking below, was added to the flag of Mr. Zavala accepted on Friday last. Mr. Taylor introduced the following resolution: Resolved that the word "Texas" be placed, one letter between each point of the star on the national flag." The banner at left is most often depicted as the first official flag of the Texas Republic proposed by Vice-President of the new Republic of Texas, Lorenzo de Zavala. The proceedings appear to indicate that Zavala proposed a simple Lone Star flag which if white on blue was essentially that of Scott's flag of the War Party without the word "Independence," or the left part of Burnet's naval flag. It is unclear whether any of the proposed modifications including the indicated lettering were ever employed.
A banner was described which would be essentially the Burnet naval flag with a white Lone Star on blue in Davy Crockett's putative autobiography, Life of David Crockett, "we have had a large national flag made; it is composed of thirteen stripes, red and white, alternately, on a blue ground with a large white star, of five points, in the center, and between the points the letters TEXAS....we set about raising our flag on the battlements [of the Alamo]."
Proceedings of the Independence Convention at Washington on the Brazos, 12 Mar 1836 stated: Mr. Childress introduced the following resolution: "Resolved that a single star of five points, either of gold or silver, be adopted as the peculiar emblem of this republic; & that every officer & soldier of the army and members of this convention, and all friends of Texas, be requested to wear it on their hats or bosoms; which was adopted."
