I read Newt’s dopey comments today and I stand corrected for any erroneous lame defense of Gingrich I made earlier. He just lost a lot of credibility.And you gained credibility for owning up to it - I hope I do as well as you the next time I miss something.

I think Newty was told by the ptb in the gop that he either abandon conservatives and grab the “new majority” - moderates - or he was done for and would not be running in 2012. Big mistake. Moderates will never be the majority and conservatives are not going along to get along with the rinos anymore. Rinos say “who else are you going to vote for?” They used to say that before Reagan, too.
