Before you go calling be a Blog Pimp, please understand this article was not written by me, it was written by a senior citizen.
I have never really been involved in politics until Obama was voted into office. I just didn't feel right about him & I guess I was pretty correct on my feelings. I'm doing my best to get involved with people in our small town. My town has a population of around 16,000 & people seem to know one another. We have been here for 12 yrs & haven't really gotten to know that many people. We live in a nice subdivision & it seems like everyone keeps to themselves.
We know that we are going to have to sell our house next year. We were able to afford to live here when we moved here from the Valley...but due to 9/11 & then Obama getting into office, we simply cannot afford to pay our mortgage any more. We were not people who bought what we could not afford. We had saved for many years..worked all our lives to take an early retirement. Then my husband got sick in the Valley & we figured if we moved north where the air was cleaner he would get better. However, once we had lived here for around 2-3 yrs I got very sick & no one could figure out what was wrong with me. I was in ICU at our hospital about 3 times. Each time I would be brought in, they would tell my husband that I wouldn't live until the next day. However, I kept coming through. Finally, our doctor, who I really have so much respect for, said that I would have to go to the Valley.

That is my fear.
I know what it will do ...we will be going without....and when we die the government will take anything we have left.

In my opinion the Senior Citizens should be running the Country.
Just like the Elders in the Indian Villages.
