Here is an update to yesterday's shoot-out in Detriot. Unfortunately I am not talking about a hockey game there.
FBI kills leader of radical Muslims; 12 charged BY BEN SCHMITT, NIRAJ WARIKOO AND ROBIN ERB
The leader of a local mosque who authorities also are calling the head of an Islamic fundamentalist group was killed in a shootout with federal agents this afternoon during a series of raids that resulted in charges against a dozen men.
Luqman Ameen Abdullah, 53, leader of the Masjid Al-Haqq mosque in Detroit, is accused in a federal complaint of heading a Sunni Muslim group with a mission of establishing a separate Islamic nation within the United States.

Not surprised Dearborn which is a Sub next to Detroit has the largest concentration of Muslims in the US. I still have relatives in Dearborn and believe me it has changed.

Dawud Walid, the executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Affairs, said that members of the Muslim community were "shocked" at Abdullah's death."He was well-known and respected. No-one that I have talked has said that he was linked to any sort of extremist groups, overseas or here at home," he told Al Jazeera.
"I do not have any knowledge as to the veracity of the allegations [against Abduallah and his 10 followers] but if the allegations are true, what does that have to do with Islam or Muslims?
"The charges that have been filed against the 11 suspects have no relation or linkage to their religion - they are gun charges. We resent the fact that the FBI has linked religion to these gun charges."

Will the FBI be investigated for their tactics? Did someone read the captured freedom fighters their rights? Is the temperature in their holding cells warm enough? Are they getting jail food that conforms with their religious beliefs? Have each of them been given a Koran to read while in jail?
Gosh, I sure hope they’re being treated OK. BTW, how many of our young soldiers died this month in Afghanistan? Oh, yeah, that doesn’t matter. I forgot.
Have the toilets in the jail been noved do they don’t offend Mecca?
I grew up in Dearborn and I still work there every day. Yes, it has changed. Terribly. We call it “Dearbornistan” now. A lot of my favorite eateries that I loved as a kid have closed and reopened as Arabic restaurants. I don’t go to East Dearborn much because it is like another country. The school system is a joke compared to what it was.

One has to wonder when this scene will repeat.
I grew up during Mayor Hubbards era Dearborn used to be a Beautiful City. As a matter of fact Mayor Guido used to be a neighbor to my Grandmother and when my Uncle Tony stellato passed away Guido and has family baby sat while we attended the Funeral. I still have LP of Guido when he had his band. Times have changed,however, I’m glad we now live in Indiana.
