Although the Taliban in Afghanistan is getting stronger , Obama still believes that he is going to reach out to the "moderate" Taliban members, in order to turn the war around. His next brilliant move is to now pay off Taliban members, this comes just weeks after stating that Taliban members will be allowed to take part in the government of Afganistan. Because of Obama, who has the upper hand here?

Most of which will be used to kill our troops.
Another FRper was right. Osblama is probably obeying his Saudi puppet masters to destroy our efforts in Afghanistan...but first, get as many of our troops killed as possible.

US TROOPS in Afghanistan killed in last month is highest amount in 8 years......notice how HIS plan to “invade” Pakistan has quietly disappeared. We have been involved in a bloody war, lost American blood, resources, money... all to create a government like the one we were trying to overthrow?

They did offer money to the enemy in Iraq. It sucks, yes- but it was part of the strategy. It does work, if the commander in chief isn't a complete fool.
So, guess that's why it isn't working anymore in Iraq.
