I’ve seen people like Alan Grayson, the Democratic Representative from Florida’s 8th Congressional District, before. For example, I once attended an event held by Michigan Congressman John Conyers in the southern, suburban, part of his district. The tone of that event was brimming with the implication that Republicans should immediately be sent off to some type of reeducation camp. Grayson’s certainly headed in that general direction, it seems to me.
Grayson made his comments the other day to Ed Schultz, who’s one of a bevy of MSNBC in-house radical leftist commentators. Such wild comments certainly reflect the views of many leftists in Congress these days. They’re the normal way of speaking on the part of most, if not all, “progressive Democrats,” in other words.
... I think we can learn a lot about progressives like Grayson by watching them when they’re caught in an unguarded moment, as he was in his conversation with Schultz. When pushed, they eagerly show they’re the ones who’ll be the first to take extreme measures in the name of their version of peace and harmony. At the least, they certainly seem thin-skinned about things. But forewarned is forearmed, and we can beat their bad ideas with better ideas of our own. It appears we’ve been doing just that, too, if current polls are correct.

The southern types are in the panhandle and avoid the mid to southern part of Fl as much as possible. They vote more conservatively than the transplants and the many immigrant populations in and around Miami. The Cubans are more conservative as a rule, though.

It looks to me that Grayson, an elected representative of Obama’s democratic run congress, has just threatened the lives and false imprisonment of millions of Americans, named it’s citizens the enemy...... and essentially declared Civil War.
This was a public proclamation for which Obama has remained silent, therefore it is a reasonable conclusion that Obama agrees with his colleague and as such, tacitly supports such a war against the good citizens of our country.
All of this serves as a stark reminder: “That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government....”

The 8th is made of 4 counties, of which Orange (the Orlando area) is the largest. The Republican incumbent he beat in 2008 (Ric Keller) won three out of the four counties, but ACORN really got voter registration bumped up in Orange and you see the result. It’s traditionally a Republican-leaning district, though. Keller hurt himself when he reneged on a voluntary term limits pledge he’d made and the voters soured on him. Grayson only won 52 to 48 percent.
I think he’s vulnerable to a quality Republican/conservative candidate, for sure.

Mr. Grayson's intemperate words carry with them more than a mere whiff of Fascism. For his colleagues not to distance themselves from him makes them complicit in his behavior.
I may think my political adversaries misguided or even deluded, but I will not make them my enemies unless they evince a predisposition toward opposing the things I hold dear: Liberty, country, family, and the benevolent God who gave us life. Mr. Grayson and his ilk pose a threat that in itself validates the wisdom of our Founders in promulgating our Constitution generally, and our 2nd Amendment specifically.
Republican conservatives and some of the people at FOX are enemies of the post-American vision. We don’t believe in transferring more wealth and power to the enlightened ruling cabal, so we can be better ruled. Post-America sucks, and so do the dimwitted, leftest intellectuals who are pushing it onto us.
