The answer to this question is unequivocally no! 1.When do Muslims reciprocate? 2.Under Islam, Jesus is supposed to come back and destroy the cross. How can any Christian show respect to a religion that says that?
Unfortunately some so called Christian leaders do not have the guts to face reality. Two of them are Pastor's Brian Mclaren, and Rick Warren. Pastor Terry Jones of the Dove World Outreach Center gets it.

I lost my appetite thinking about the topic, does that count as fasting?
pig roast-—outside the mosque, lunchtime Friday.....
LOL!
Nope.
Buy a big bucket of pork chops and chow down!

Short answer, no. Longer answer, hell no.

Obama Says A Baby Is A Punishment
Obama: If they make a mistake, I dont want them punished with a baby.
And every day during Ramadan, right around prayer time.
Works for me.
I think we should eat as much pork as possible during their fasting holiday.
Islam is not a religion. It is a political thang...
No.
(FTRoP)
What about giving up all non-pork, non-shellfish, and non-alcoholic products? Is that bad too?
I'm not quite sure that "HELL NO!!!!!" properly expresses it.
Commissars are for commies.
Czars were the royalty that got overthrown by commies.
Not in a western country. On the contrary, they should pretend to eat so as not to offend me.
When I was working in Saudi, out of consideration for our relatively few muslim employees (including relatively few muslims with the client) we moved our break area down to another floor down a hall through an unmarked door. If you wanted to smoke or sip coffee thats where you went during that month, instead of sipping coffee at your desk or having a smoke at your desk.
As a result the breaks tended to be a little longer, we’d sit and talk and watch the world out the upper floor windows.
But in a western country, no. I’d never purposely offend a muslim colleague but I’m not going to remake my life just to please him. He knows he’s in a western country. He chose to be here, and unless he’s a jerk, he’s already accepted that. If he’s a jerk, I don’t care what he thinks anyway.
Breaking bread with followers of an antiChrist figure. Not merely an “alternate theology” but one that acknowledges the existence of Jesus and calling Him a holy man but denying His divinity, His death by crucifixion, and His resurrection all while the flock is led astray.
It’s one thing to say “I respect your right to follow whatever religion you want” and quite another to proclaim “we believe in the same God”.
Yes, I think Christians fasting during Ramadan is a good thing, BUT NOT WITH MUSLIMS. Fasting is a way to connect with God and receive special insight into God's desires for us. It may be a sort of countermeasure to the Muslim fast. Satan runs the faith of Mohammad. Their god is not the same as the Judeo-Christian God, so the fasting is going for two dichotomies.
Fried pork chop fast.
My favorite kind.
Thank you for that clarification...it’s still a title that is not synonymous with our Constitutional Republic, but I’m ready for a new tagline anyway.

Absolutely NOT. Should Muslims convert to Christanity during Ramadam? YES. Next question.
...held in the left hand with a cold beer in the right!
(muzzies wipe their butts with the left and are also offended by it and alcohol!)
Thanks for the ping.
I already do. I generally fast between about 10:00 p.m. and about 6:30 a.m. during Ramadan. Does that count???
“On the contrary, they should pretend to eat so as not to offend me.”
Lol!
Uh ... why would/should we?
Catering to Islam in anyway is a mistake.
I intend to eat more pork chops and bacon during Ramadan and to remind myself that Mohammedans follow a leader who was a thief, a murderer, and a pedophile.
Why would I participate with mudering child-molesters and their cult?
>>Catering to Islam
Especially in the daylight hours during Ramadan.
A ham a day will keep the Mullah away. MMM MMM MMM
Bacon for breakfast every day. MMM MMM MMM
Pork steak on the grill, is a real thrill MMM MMM MMM
A hot rack of Ribs, or maybe two. MMM MMM MMM
Hell yes.
I loves me some fried pork chops and cold beer!
Especially during Ramada Inn or whatever.
WTF??? Yeah right.
Um, No. This would indicate solidarity and some sort of compatibility with Christianity. There is none, it is pure insanity to try to compare or equate the 2.
I’d like to send them all back to where they came from...”fast”! Does THAT count?

This calls for global feasting as far as I am concerned. Ain’t a gonna fast with them heathens EVER
ok ok, I promise not to eat any muslims.
Well here we agree!
Have a good day. :)
Bacon! - Mmmm, Mmmm, Mmmm..............
no
No, but losing your lunch, blowing cookies, ralphing, or barfing, does.
Christians should have some respect for the price Christ paid at Calvary by refraining from participating in ANY non-Christian ceremony. Stand by politely, but don’t honor or show reverence to Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist or any other religious practice out there.
Be polite, but no real homage should be paid.
Pork sandwiches and beer at lunch.
Reading this article, or portions of it, reminded me of an experience I had at the Honey Baked Ham store. It was right before Easter and I thought I’d try out their ridiculously overpriced hams.
So, I got to the counter and the lady didn’t even wish me a Happy Easter. I was a little disappointed. Who was she worried about offending? Jews do not eat pork, so they can’t be her customers. Muslims are forbidden even to be NEAR pork, so they can’t be her customers. Just pure nonsense is what it was.
Pass the bacon!
