A great week for Glenn Beck show and FNC. Not so great for the Obama attack machine and democrats.

It's the Chicago way. If you don't know what that is let me play you a scene from the movie ‘The Untouchables.’ (Plays clip of Sean Connery and Kevin Costner talking about crushing the enemy.) What is that Barrack Obama promised on the campaign trail: ‘A new kind of politics’. Well America didn't think the ‘new’ politics would be worse than the old politics. But here's what the new politics is: If you don't agree with the administration? (Glenn waves a baseball bat threateningly.) You want to stand in the way of reform? No longer is it a gentlemen disagreement that can be debated. Oh no, no, no, you are going to play ball or get a beat down.
Some of the people that found out this week , Chamber of Commerce found out first hand. The White House didn't have a problem with the Chamber of Commerce ,when they were on board for the bailouts, the takeover of GM and the stimulus. ‘You want to play ball, you know what I mean??’ He even whispered sweet ‘I love small businesses’ in their ears. (Plays a clip of Obama praising small businesses) .... America cant live without them, he loves them. He loves the Chamber who represents three million businesses, 95% are small businesses. But when the Chamber comes out against the disastrous climate Cap and Trade bill, And then they got the gall to come out against universal health care. Well the president got out his baseball bat. (Waves the bat threateningly and plays a clip of Obama attacking the Chamber.) I thought he loves small businesses. Well he does, until they stop playing for the team....and the Chamber has money. That's bad.
And what do they know about health care? We will ask the doctors. ...

Glenn Beck reminds me a little of the young Rush Limbaugh of 1993+1994 who had a TV show that played video clips of democrats like Beck does now. And made it fun then like Beck does now.

Yeah, I remember watching Rush’s TV show. The problem is that it aired @ 11PM or midnight, IIRC. Oh well, conservatism is for adults only anyway.
The left is apoplectic because Beck is the John Daly of the right. They can not tolerate the drips of mocking that they dole out in buckets.
Beck’s Friday program with the bat was excellent. I missed the other 4 days due to work.

Hee, hee, hee. Just shows how out of the loop I am. I actually have only seen clips of both and very seldom. (No cable.) You are correct. My bad. See...even sober I screw up! I liked it better when I could blame the alcohol. :-)

I really enjoy Glenn, but his very long rants are beginning to get a bit tedious. He can bring on really fascinating people, like James Delingpole (sp?) this past week. But he only had a couple of short, short segments with him & a lot of that was taken up with joshing. I’d have liked to have seen a solid half hour with that guy!
Close? You’re much too kind. I got the name John correct. And after I looked it up, I realized that I compared Glenn to a golfer. (I’m a bad boy Abbott.)

That was back in the days before FNC. He had to go into syndication which left it to local channels. Our Baltimore station had him at 1 am and I taped it for over two years, I still have some on VHS. When his show ended in 1995 it was replaced with re-runs of Lears (CBSs) Good Times with JJ.
If there was a FNC then , he’d have been on at 5pm.
