My whole life prior to 1992 was given solely over wholly to the music industry. From playing the music to that of absolutely following all aspects of the industry and culture as some of you who knew me well know. As Almighty God began to get a hold of me and started to redirect me by His Word, I began to see the evils and vices of the whole music culture and life style.
I remember saying to myself - the last day that I played in the last phase of Silent Desire (1986-1992) - I thought to myself... What are you doing? Listen to the lyrics. What are they saying? Look what the consequences of this life style and what it is doing to you and those who you care greatly about. I knew I had to leave it and I knew that Almighty God could not be honored in any way or blessed by it in my life by practicing such godlessness.

Rock and roll is derivative of the blues. For decades the blues was considered the devil’s music by many religious african americans. Since rock and roll derived it’s early success from copying the blues format on practically every hit single from the fifties, it wasn’t hard for some people to draw the conclusion that rock and roll and the blues are satanic devices to influence kids. Not my opinion, (rock and roll is just another form of music), but many people, mostly uber-religious types, still think some demonic forces control rock and roll.

That’s the thing.. Music is a key player in the disintegration of our culture. I grew up doing it and know the industry very well. If those video’s move you.. how much more is Satan using it to destroy millions of our youth.
