Here is video of Dick Morris talking with Sean Hannity last night, where he said the White House has launched their assault on Fox News because they know a large segment of their audience is comprised of Democrats and Independents. Morris said if Fox News only had Republicans, they would not care.

Morris says 46% of all Independents watch Fox News several times a week, and 17% of Democrats do. He also said 20% of all Americans watch Fox News every night.

Morris also said the elderly oppose Obama's Health Care Plan by 2 to 1. Younger people support it by 2 to 1. But when younger people learn the details of the plan, they oppose it as well. . . . (VIDEO)

Beckel said as much last night as well...

If I were Murdoch/Ailes I would file a big fat libel/defamation lawsuit against the administration. Their heads would explode.

They would actually have a good case.

One MSM news outlet last night told me that the President has 58% approval on healthcare, 51% approval for himself, and only 20% of Americans identify themselves at Republican.

I have to snicker at this kind of "reality". November will tell the tale.

I have another theory. It’s candy to the progressive base. If Obama ends up selling out on public plan, he can blame FNC.

Also, MSNBC and CNN started questioning why they missed ACORN story, so White House put a stop to that.

The surest sign the Obama Administration is in a complete tailspin- actually attacking a cable news channel (and the highest rated one at that). Obama is expsoing himself as petulent and unable to handle criticism. What would be said if the Bush Administration had done this to MSNBC or the New York Times?

LOL. If the Bush administration had waged similar war against the adversarial media, they’d have spent all 8 years at war with every media outlet in the country except Fox News, the Wash. Times, and Breitbart.

If he is, it makes the war on Fox look even dumber. These (Independents plus venturesome Dems) are viewers who are likely to be offended by the ham-handed tactics.

It is my understanding that Tammy Duckworth is again running for congress.

Last weekend McAuliff brought up the point that FNC dared to fact check her comments on Fox.

That gave Chris Wallace a chance to prove that she had outright lied on his program.

Nice reminder to the voters about their dem candidate.

Did Terry bring that up on purpose or on stoopid?

Regardless of why the Obamanists do it, it’s a typical totalitarian move. Attack the free press. Attack your critics. This despite the fact that nearly all the “news media” slavishly adore every act of this Administration.

You would think there would be some Democrats willing to resist the totalitarian temptation, but they haven’t appeared yet.

The question is, how many of the Dems that watch FNC will take marching orders and turn the channel?
