Anyone who today would drive between the Ruhr district (Germany) and Antwerpen, Belgium, would have to admit Europe, again, constitutes the center of the world economy.

32 years is a long time. I’ve never lived closer than 15 miles from my job,usually 25-35 miles. My driving instructor in high school was a fighter pilot wannabee and he actually taught us to drive like everyone on the road was trying to kill us. You can’t be surprised if you constantly scan your mirrors and blind spots, look before driving through green lights, watch the front hubcaps on cars sitting at stop signs, know the color of every car around you, etc. He had his own version of Boelke’s Dicta and it works.
