A half-marathoner and two other runners died during the Detroit marathon on Sunday, organizers said.
Daniel Langdon, 36, of Laingsburg, collapsed at about 9:02 a.m. between the 11- and 12-mile markers, said Rich Harshbarger, vice president of consumer marketing for the Detroit Media Partnership.

Yeah, the title, evokes some emotional response.. RACE. Can we choose another title...like Marathon?
Wonder if they thought about checking out who was on the sidelines handing out drinks of water along the race course?

FR doesn’t like it when titles are changed so I copied the title. The photo in the story makes it obvious what the story is about.
I’m telling you all that running and exercise stuff is bad for you! I sat on my butt all weekend and I’m perfectly healthy except for my frustration from having watched the Mizzou game.....
