It’s important because he is listened to, and he’s repeating the current MSM chant. They are out to demonize Rush, so that there can be OUTRAGE at a certain time, with a push to get him off the air. If they can plant the seeds of outrage, when this time comes the screaming will drown out (take media bandwidth) from Rush’s supporters.
I’ll bet the Whitehouse thinks Geraldo is the best “reporter” on Fox.

Well, Fox needs tokens just like any other TV outlet. Though I’m not entirely convinced that Geraldo is authentically black, Puerto Rican or white. Doesn’t really matter though, he is quite happy to lecture the public on what appropriate discourse should be on racial matters, though the basis for this is unclear.
He is very PC, and not above kissing up to the liberal establishment if he believes it will benefit him. I can still remember during Clinton’s BJ crisis, Geraldo told the audience that he just loved this guy. (?!?!?!) Very inappropriate commentary for someone in his position.
There’s certainly no danger of him being mistaken for the late Bill Buckley. :-)

Rush does a show about politics, and the Democrats/Left are all about racial politics and “civil rights”. Naturally, in the 20 years he’s been around nationally, he’s going to “have a lot of fun at the expense of (certain) black people”, like Sharpton, Jackson, Obama, Sheila Jackson Lee, et al. Come to think of it, Geraldo spends an inordinate amount of time talking about race: “discrimination”, illegal immigration, identity politics, he just comes at it all from the Left side of the argument.
Sounds like Geraldo wants to increase his ratings by throwing his hat into the litigation ring.
I tolerated a few minutes of Geraldo and those out of context video bites. I have never been so disgusted with this lousy excuse for a talking head on Fox. Considering the kind of media scum he is,,,his skewering of Rush without Rush there for the “fair and balanced” response to the slander, means I will hit the clicker even faster when Geraldo appears on the screen. Limbaugh only makes fun of people who are easy targets. If Geraldo thinks they are easy targets, then that’s his problem.
I remember seeing Jerry at a new hotel in Kuwait circa early 2003 (civil affairs HQ). I was priviledged to be there on a mission and got to slam the door in his face when he was trying to stick his nose where it didn’t belong. He is an ass!

In the 15 years I’ve listened to Rush, never has he uttered a racist comment. Rush knows his listeners back him 100 percent and we are never swayed by liars in the media. Geraldo is a moustachioed puffed up fancy lad who is totally unqualified for the position he has at Fox. I still remember the Al Capone vault thing, I was a kid, but I still remember what an arse he was even way back then. Maybe the guy who broke that chair on Geraldo’s nose was justified in doing so. He mighta had it coming...Rush should legally pursue all who used false quotes, and all who slandered him on this issue. The LSM will never get that when they attack Rush, we only love him more.
If libs like Rivera were honest, they would admit that they think it’s automatically racist to make fun of any black person...especially a liberal black person. They are supposed to be off limits. I remember a few years ago some newspaper scibbler in Madison, Wisconsin being outraged that Rush made fun of Jesse Jackson. Not if he was right or not, just the fact that he made fun of the biggest race hustler in the business was enough for a lib to call Rush a racist.
