For the past several days the airwaves, particularly those of the MSM, have been full of news concerning Rush Limbaugh's being part of a consortium of business men wanting to purchase the St. Louis Rams football team. You would have thought Satan was wanting to take over St. Louis and all sorts of ridiculous stories and attacks were being levied against Limbaugh. Rush was painted with the common brush of "racist."
Black Players, the NFL Players Union spokes person, Al Sharpton, owners and even the commissioner chimed in on the matter saying that they would not tolerate Limbaugh's being a part of the NFL.
The most idiotic claim was made by Pulitzer Prize winning author, Karen Hunter, who said that Limbaugh owning a team was his way of being a "plantation owner" owning a group of black slaves. What an ignorant statement. Her Pulitzer should be immediately recalled. By this statement Hunter considers black athletes slaves. She was saying it is okay for them to be owned, just not by this master. Another Massah is good, just not Massah Limbaugh.
I also find it interesting that most of the same people who want Limbaugh ostracized are the same ones who think it is OK for Roman Polanski to drug and rape a 13 year old. These are also the same people, the white ones, who do not want Michael Vice to ever play again, or at least to make his life a living hell as long as he does play.
In the end, and to their shame, the group of potential owners caved in and removed Rush Limbaugh from the investor group saying that it was not worth it to keep Rush involved if it risked their not getting the franchise.
In the past 2 days ESPN and other media outlets have been announcing that Rush Limbaugh has been punted, and there is I am sure great rejoicing in this in many quarters, particularly in the black community and on the left. They see this as some great victory. This is very sad. Why? Because I ask the simple question, who really won and who really lost? Did Rush really lose? Did black players or even more so black Americans win?
Rush is still the most popular radio personality in America. He will still earn over $25 million a year, and he will still want Barack Obama to fail. Nothing has changed.
At the same time, will one black child do better in school? Will one less gang killing take place in Chicago, Philly LA. Will the Rams play any better? The answer is of course no. No new jobs have been created and Iran, North Korea are still feverishly building nuclear weapons.
This is a sad state for our nation. Black America in the grip of the Liberal establishment is more addicted to mediocrity than they are to "Crack Cocaine." They are the willing pawns in the Liberal game. This is a sad state. In the end everyone that needs to win loses.
Says it all right there.
I happen to be white but I feel bad for black Americans these days. Because most black Americans are proud of their race, they can get into herd mentality (I know ALL about this because we Jews do the same thing). They parrot what their friends say. AND THEY CAN GET FOOLED.
The white lefties USE intelligent black Americans for THE WHITE LEFTIES’ OWN PURPOSES that are actually antithetical to what most black Americans want: a good economy with lots of jobs, a good education for their kids, safety in the streets for their families, and FREEDOM. Freedom to live without chafing restrictions of government.
White lefties want government to CONTROL the economy (and thus corrupt and stifle it), to WASTE students’ time on fake social engineering crap, to hobble the cops due to political correctness and allow thugs to rule the streets, and make the CHAINS of government handouts look sweet, removing people’s ability to control their own destinies.
It’s all a trick, and they own the media to fool people with.
I frankly think that after their forefathers went through slavery, that should have been ENOUGH. This patronizing is so phony. There is precious little outer white racism toward blacks any more. The race-baiting IS the racism; think about it.
Limbaugh loves America and Americans and doesn’t have a racist bone in his body. He’s also honest about race rather than tapdancing around it like most whites in the media, trying to APPEAR so hip to diversity. Those whites AND blacks up in arms against Limbaugh are more focused on race than he ever was. It’s a TRAP and it makes me sad.
Yeah. Especially if enough people, like Rush Limbaugh, who are tired of being accused of racism every time they disagree with the leftards start cancelling their NFL Network Subscription Channel.
I’m hoping to see RUSH, from now on, start Every show with the following Statement...
“Sharpton, Jackson, OBAMA ... I’M STILL HERE!”
Had they laid off and let Rush in, they’d have had THOUSANDS of more NFL consumers.
Rush keeps his money. The NFL does without IT and all the folks who would’ve come along to spend theirs because of Rush.

I’d like to see ANY slave that’s EVER lived who earns the $$$ that ONE NFL player makes. Yeah... that’s some REAL slavery there...
Not only that but I suspect St Louis may be losing that NFL team before too long.

Rush could easily buy the entire Arena Football League and give them a run for their money!!
How do you figure? People who hate football don't watch it, regardless of who owns a team.
