Lakeville, MA -- Police along with the Secret Service are investigating after a local country club discovered a symbol resembling a swastika carved into the green.

Lakeville County Club workers discovered the vandalism early Monday morning. Carved into the green on the 18th hole was a swastika look-a-like next to President Barack Obama's name. The vandals snuck in at night and carved their message of love, according to the owner of the country club.

I read the story in a different light than what the headline states. I think the swastika implies hate rather than love. The intent is to convey Obama is a fascist, IMO.

I believe the vandalism to be just as phony as the proven fake 'hate crimes' of nooses on doors, swastikas painted on dorms occupied by black students etc. That notwithstanding, I have to wonder whether the endorsement of a communist is any better than the endorsement of a nazi.

Yours is the correct take. However, I am dubious as to who did the deed.

It would seem most likely that some sort of skinhead or white supremacy wonk would have done this. If so, I would think they would certainly know how to recreate a proper swastika.
Which makes me believe this was another fake perpetrated by a Leftie Looney.

No neo-Nazi did this because the swastika used was not a Nazi swastika as the Nazi swastika is a "right handed" swastika pointing in the opposite direction.

This work was done by some ignorant vandal, a vandal influenced by Eastern/New Age religious use of the left handed swastika as a good luck charm or religious talisman.
