An early season cold spell across the Upper Midwest and northern Plains this past weekend and into the start of this week mixed with available moisture has set up for early season snow. Some of this snow has been quite heavy and has been record breaking. Here are some of those records:

Normally, in the Twin Cities, we get our first measurable snowfall around Nov. 11. We had our first on Saturday and our second today....
8 degrees F at our place this morning. Frost in the horses’ whiskers.
Somebody send that fat ‘tard Al up here with his hot air, please.
But we know that this global cooling was caused by global warming.

I just hope we’re heading into a Little Ice Age, and not a Big Ice Age. How long will it take the eco-commies to come up with a theory that we caused the Ice Age? I’m not talking about the theory that Global Warming will cause an end to the Gulf Stream and cause cold in the north. That can be disproved by study of the Gulf Stream. No, I mean they will say that the global ice age was somehow caused by man. Maybe they can dust off their theories from the 70s, and say, “this time, we’re right”.
Quit hogging all the cold and send some down to Florida, please. Just enough to get us out of the 90’s and into the low 80’s would be nice. It’s just not the same now that Karl isn’t running the weather machine.
3 years ago TONITE we got 23” of the white stuff here in Buffalo, NY. I don’t wish that on anyone... Leaves still on trees is NOT a good thing with that much snow. Dubbed the “October Surprise Storm”.
