There is lots of good stuff in here, but one comment he makes near the end really captures what drives the libs nuts about him. First, he knows the left has no sense of humor when it comes to politics. They literally cannot take a joke if it is about one of their guys. So when he says he switches from penetrating analysis to satire in an instant, the satire part is like waving shiny objects in front of liberals' faces; they become so distracted by the satire that they never bother to analyze his underlying argument.
And it is true, as sure as the sun will rise tomorrow on Barack Obama, that the left is utterly humorless. We see it all the time. If you make a joke about Nancy Pelosi's facelifts in one line of a 500 word post on health care, all the lefties can say is how mean spirited you are for attacking Nancy, or how such comments undercut the rest of your argument, or how unfunny it is, blah, blah, blah.

NBC and the rest of the lame liberal media have one weapon that they refuse to use. Rush Limbaugh uses it every day and wins. That is the TRUTH! Lots of BB’s in the same spot could do some damage but Rush is fast enough to keep moving so that there is no concentration of attacks. And the lame libs in the media are stupid enough to keep trying the same tactics while Rush has blunted all that they have tried with truth and patriotism.

That was Wolf Blitzer on CNN. In fairness, he was equally vigorous in fact checking and refuting Tina Fey's mischaracterization of Sarah Palin, of course. (Do I really need /sarcasm tags?)
But you would have to first pass a law to require the battleship to STAY IN THE SAME PLACE long enough for you to launch the 10 million.

To the paint. As long as you didn’t exceed the elastic limit the steel would bounce back to it’s original shape, like a trampoline. I doubt you’d even wear a dimple in it, but maybe.
Dynamistics are found of saying that you can hit a bullet with a battleship, given enough prior information about the bullet’s trajectory. (Like “hitting a bullet with a bullet”, it’s an information problem as much as dynamics problem.)
A long time ago, I read a comment that if we had dropped the same tonnage of bowling balls on North Viet Nam as we did ordnance, the whole country would have been eight feet deep in bowling balls.
BBs are made of bismuth nowadays, no steel in them. These would, at 300FPS be turned into dust on contact with 17 inch armor plated steel on a battleship. Leave a pock hole maybe if they weren’t dispersed, but no way would do much damage at all. A depleted uranium sabot round at 3200 fps on the other hand..... Course the metaphor is the “death of 1K slices” that the stupid media reports of stupid calculated lies to the stupid Obamasses. Repeating a lie makes it so to a large number of the unthinking. “The economy is showing signs of recovery” Riiight. Conservatives are the “focused” fact- substantiated depleted uranium rounds penetrating the battleship of Obama and liberal lies.
To be humorous something has to have an element or kernel of truth in it. Democrats deal in illusion and fabrication, and what they fabricate is done in deep serious self-righteous puritanical verbage— and therefore, extremely not funny. Stalin thought it funny to quote death statistics of his murdered countrymen-what a comic! He thought it was funny to have formerly self sufficient farmers(kulaks) prevented from farming and forced into cannibalism. As in the same way liberals think it is funny to set up a system of bureaucratic healthcare that kills off productive citizens of every age.
It's because they believe they are the smartest, most gifted people in the country when exactly the opposite is true. The overwhelming majority of politicians elected on the national level have never made a payroll. The majority are lawyers with degrees in Political Science or History. You just don't see engineers being elected to Congress. As such, critical thinking and problem solving are foreign to them. They thrive on crisis. They know the ultimate power is control and the easiest way to control people is to keep them distracted and confused. They know they cannot reveal their true motivations. That's why they live or die by polls and focus groups and are so dependent on categorizing people by every means possible. Divide and conquer.....
That was a good, surprising fair (even positive) interview. She did a nice job and Rush was great, as usual.
