In a despicable, arrogant, and rather hypocritical display today, White House communications director (whatever the hell that is) Anita Dunn delegitimized the Fox News Channel as a bona fide news station. Among the gems shared by her with CNN’s Reliable Sources with Howard Kurtz (h/t: Breitbart, via Mediaite]:
Let’s be realistic here, Howie, they’re widely viewed as a part of the Republican party: Take their talking points, put ‘em on the air. Take their opposition research, put ‘em on the air. And that’s fine, but let’s not pretend they’re a news network the way CNN is.
The reality of it is FOX News often operates almost as either the research arm or the communications arm of the Republican Party.... What I think is fair to say about FOX, and certainly the way we view it, is that it really is more a wing of the Republican Party.
When [Democrat Chris Wallace] goes on FOX he understands he's not going on it really as a news network at this point. He's going on to debate the opposition, and that's fine. He never minds doing that.
You just can’t make this up, folks. It’s so hypocritical, given the fact that the alphabet networks, MSNBC, and CNN have been so overtly cheerleaders for anything pro-liberal/Democrat and particularly pro-Obama.
ABC, which gave Obama free publicity with his three-day infomercial on government-run health (s)care, is evidently a legitimate news network.
MSNBC, lined up from daytime to nighttime with overtly gaga-for-Obama liberal Democrats, is evidently a legitimate news network.
CNN, which actually fact-checked a Saturday Night Live skit teasing President Golden Calf, is evidently a legitimate news network.
CBS, who had to fire its star anchor for reporting fake documents as real for the specific purpose of destroying a sitting Republican president just weeks before an

Left wing ideologues don’t tolerate dissent or criticism — simple as that. In response, I hope Fox News redoubles their efforts to expose the true nature of this president and his disasterous and dangerous administration.
Fox is not a real news network and they do not have the highest ratings in every time slot. Please, Mr. Obama, keep this up. Maybe MORE will watch Fox News now, since it has come down from on high (your office) that they are not real news.This could add to their record breaking ratings. Thanks for the boost.
FOX will undo this presidency. O wil be standing there, on the steps of the helicopter with tears in his eyes, waving to all his supporters. No doubt he will use the cliche “I’ll be back”. Alas, he won’t be back. He’s one bad news cycle away from the majority of the country figuring him out for what and who he is.
