There's a great deal of irony in the connection between Saul Alinsky and the Tea Parties. If you were to take a random poll of tea party gatherers, most would have heard of Alinsky. Most of those folks would view Alinsky unfavorably. Yet, knowingly or not, the tea parties owe much of their success to the exact same principles that Alinsky verbalized when he was organizing on the streets of Chicago.

Silly. You can learn from, and even adopt tactics of evil people doing evil things, and still rightly consider them scum.
Exactly. For instance, while the left has no issues targeting Sarah Palin and he children, I will not attack Obama’s daughters or any other innocents.
Alinsky tactics took out Van Jones and will take out others who are guilty.

The same reason the whole far-left community organizer crowd is scum. They preach that liberty and capitalism is fatally flawed and will fall of it's own weight. But their actions belie that assertion. If freedom was a flawed construct, it wouldn't need their destructive efforts to fail, and they know it. They are just dirty and envy prone twerps. The whole "rubbing raw the wounds of resentment" thing is a rather evil strategy, conducted by those unconcerned with the pawns in the game, wouldn't you say?
