They REALLY had a cover titled “The Meaning of Michelle” - that wasn’t a spoof?
Hard to believe.
Uh, I think 1861-1865 were much, much worse. (600,000 American dead in “total war”, suspension of habeas corpus, usurpation of basic 1st amendment rights, conscription, first income tax, fiat currency and, ultimately, submission of the states to Federal supremacy, for example.)
