Audacity of [snip] – foolish, deceitful, or boastful language that is worthless, deceptive, or insincere: refers to arrogant, insolent talk or behavior that has no substance or meaning.

“Abortion should be safe, legal, and rare.”

First coined by Bill Clinton in the early 1990’s, it has become the official party line of the Democrats. The phrase was invoked by President Obama during the controversial Notre Dame Commencement speech given earlier this year.
