For the second time - in less than 60 days - the U.S. Civil Rights Commission has sent a letter to U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder seeking answers to their questions about a voter intimidation case in Philadelphia involving the New Black Panther Party (NBPP). It considers the responses “overdue.”

The letter, dated September 30, 2009, is seemingly an unprecedented action. It asks for Mr. Holder to “instruct Department officials to fully cooperate” with the Commission’s investigation as required by federal law.

The correspondence noted that the Commission still has not received any of the documents they requested in their initial June inquiries. It has questions surrounding the “unusual decision” by DOJ ...

Holder is too busy investigating Bush and Rove to be bothered by this minor incident.

Maybe what you say is true.

But one thing is for certain, if they aren’t pressured to do anything about this by the opposition (us), then we’ll just get more of the same. So don’t complain if we do.

Instead of making glib comments, maybe you can tell your friends and relatives about this.

Maybe, the same outrage that was shown by conservatives/Republicans/moderates about government health insurance, government spending and government increases in income taxes will be manifested by conservatives/Republicans/moderates are being prevented from voting by left/liberal Democrats.

Then again, maybe conservatives/Republicans/moderates don’t understand the correlation between elections, government policies and laws.

Given the fact that I was writing about ACORN’s election registration fraud for a year - and no Republican/conservatives politicians objected until a video was shown about ACORN - maybe the American right will continue to behave like sheep about this case.

"Instead of making glib comments, maybe you can tell your friends and relatives about this."

You haven't the slightest idea who you're talking to.

My friends, relatives and elected officials are exhausted with me talking about this.

We're losing our country.

Everybody Must Do Something Everyday.

I’m glad to hear it. I just don’t want people to be discouraged and think that just because it’s not frontpage news “nobody’s noticing so let’s fold the tent and go home.”

I just got finished talking to someone intimately involved with this and they too are getting discouraged.

If we let the DOJ get away with this we will have worse problems down the road.If our side continues to be apathetic then there is no question we will.

Unfortunately, many in the Republican Party were so used to being a minority party content with the little control and power Democrats gave them ( things such as patronage jobs, grants etc) they don’t want to upset the applecart.

You see this in places like Philadelphia all the time. The Republicans really believe they have no chance and are content with the scraps the Democrats give them.

It’s time to take a page from the liberals/left/Democrats book.
