Check this out: Despite the millions of dollars of misused funds, it seems ACORN couldn't pay the rent at a couple of offices in Oklahoma City. When they vacated, they left some computers behind. As a testament to the stupidity of criminals worldwide, the passwords to the computers where written on pieces of paper left inside a desk.

There was an article about this around the time of last year's election. A reporter from either a newspaper or website was let into the building by the owner after ACORN had vacated the premises. He talked about how the place was left in a mess, as if the former occupants had left in a hurry. There wasn't great detail about the docs, but the writer did mention something about a doc that showed ACORN targeting certain GOP districts during the election cycle. Non-partisan, my behind.

While I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if the claims of those files is accurate,

I think it unlikely that the sort of people that work for ACORN would leave behind ANYTHING that they could pawn, trade for drugs or use themselves.
