I am so sick of the Left being allowed to make the rules. Imagine the absurdity of a competition in which one side is allowed to set the rules against their opponent. The Left tells us what is racist. The Left tells us what we can and cannot say. The Left published a cartoon depicting former black Secretary of State Condolezza Rice as an Aunt Jemima; another depicted Rice as a huge-lipped parrot for her Massa Bush. Neither were considered racist by their creators or publishers, or even widely condemned on the Left.

Actually, I wonder if the more we rail against their hypocrisy, the more the Left is satisfied, since it gives them a sense that they’re getting away with something.
I’m beginning to think that anyone with the ability to reason and apply a consistent morality has already taken note of the Left’s double standard, and that their continued reliance on it is gradually weakening their case, like a boxer with only one good punch at the end of ten rounds. They’re used up. All they’ve got left are their Old Standards, and those are becoming almost embarrassing.
The people who haven’t seen the hypocrisy or refuse to recognize it are beyond hope.

Excellent. He is right. All this appeasement has not, does not, will not work. Funny that people who know so well that appeasement presents as weakness and invites attack at the international level, do not seem to grasp that the very same thing is and must be true when fighting the opposition party. Republicans in congress, please take note of the comparison. Stop letting them set the rules, stop thinking that you can appease them and it will get you any good will. You just back up and they push harder and harder. Meanwhile, your would be supporters get disspirited seeing your lack of strength. It is embarassing.
