Here is video of Karl Rove on Bill O'Reilly tonight where they discussed the news today that Iran has a second uranium enrichment facility that the United States and allies called them out on today.

Rove said that Iran's Ahmadinejad is a "nut," a very dangerous man. Rove said the U.S. should join other major allied powers and impose sanctions on Iran, bypassing the United Nations.

He also said that if we seek to blockade Iran, they will likely treat it as an "act of national war." . . . (VIDEO)

Everyone has to realize that Karl Rove was talking to BOR and had to come down to BOR’s level.

While it’s true and while I certainly don’t have any hope that Obama will do anything baout Iran, the fact is that Bush and the GOP had 8 years in the WH, 6 yrs with a GOP Congress to do something about Iran and the did nothing. In the days after 9/11 Bush could have taken out Iran’s nuclear sites and no one would have batted an eyelash. He still could have done it any any point in his term and no one could have done anything about it until it was too late. He could have ordered covert ops and other missions like when Israel took out that Syrian facility. He did nothing.

So, while it’s right to criticize Obama it’s hard to really get too upset given that the GOP had their chance and squandered it.

I thought ACORNs were the nuts. Quick, somebody ask Obama if he still wants to talk to Ahmadinejad without preconditions. Maybe if they just promise to play nice with their new nuke toys.

Well now that the cat's out of the bag and we know have learned that Obama has known about the secret second nuclear development site my question is this: why the heck didn't Obama lend support to the oppressed people of Iran as they protested a fraudulent election?! In the light of what Obama knew, wouldn't this have been a great opportunity to sieze? But no, Obama played kissy face with Aminibeard. People, it doesn't get easier from here. It will get a lot harder. No sanctions will work because belligerent nations aren't community folks waiting to be organized. Post # 7 has it right. Bush and Rove had 8 years to deal with Iran.

Yeah, Bill thought it was great that Muslims came to pray—it’s a ‘good thing.’ Bill is clueless.

Public support for Iraqi really started to move south in 2005. As a result, Bush lost credibility on foreign policy. Then came Katrina, and the American people lost “faith” in the Bush Presidency. So Bush didn’t have any political capital to stop Iran. In fact if you recall, the Hollywood Left spoke fondly of Iran when Ahmadinejad would insult Bush.

He had 4 years before 2005 and in any event he was the President, he didn’t need political capital. His unpopularity after 05 didn’t stop him from backing the surge or from getting Roberts and Alito confrimed.

He easily could have done something and dealt with the repurcussions afterward, when the deed had already been done.
