For years the mantra of the Left was that continuing to fight in Iraq would embolden terrorists and that reversing Bush-era policies would help ease al Qaeda's 'concerns.' Guantanamo Bay prison is on its way to being closed. Fighting has nearly ceased in Iraq and troops are being pulled out. Obama lauded the Muslim world in a Cairo speech.
And in less than a month, five possible plots to attack the United States have been uncovered.

Even Zer0 wouldn’t be dumb enough to call off the dogs in Iraq and Afghanistan on the basis of Al Qaeda hitting us again. That would just wake up the remembrance of the sheeple and make them more determined. Folding the tent in the face of another attack would be political suicide . . . unless it is a way for Zer0 to justift declaring martial law . . . maybe he is actually working with Al Qaeda on this one. He is working with all our other enemies, including Soros.
Considering the economy, there isn’t any change left.
It’s all hope at this point. ;)

A few more such events, including a “successful” one, will make it possible for Obama to declare a “national emergency” — the pwning of America.
You are right about that. Obama would rather it be a “right wing extremists” who sets him off to use the police state machinery, but he might have to settle for one of his own party’s terrorists.
