It’s noon and already 75 just outside of Seattle. They’re predicting 89 for today!!! I’m moved here partly to get away from the heat ... this is ridiculous.

Just had a few minutes of very light snow up here at 7000 ft near LV, NM. It was pretty coolish this morning when I went to check on the cows.

92 degrees and 87% humidity in New Orleans, but some relief with the rain. Maybe we’ll get snow in early December again.

In ca its really hard to distinguish when is winter or any other season it is forecasted to be in the 90s today and tomorrow with no humidity making it probable for fires :(

Autumn arrival in Los Angeles often means heat — we’ve had more heat the past couple of days and dry air and very high temps expected today thru week’s end. Not shocking.

It’s 12:30 now and here in San Fernando Valley (one of the infamous inland valleys surrounding LA), it’s still under 90 but prediction is for 103+.

I recall decades ago when back to school meant hot temps like this — and no a/c in classrooms — and being ticked off that new wool ‘fall’ clothes could not yet be worn. It seems nothing’s changed in that regard. Just another late September day in L.A. And...we had a relatively cool summer over all.

It wouldn’t be a bad day if there were a bit more wind.

I’m near Waco and went outside just to soak up the coolness! Yesterday it was 95, today it’s 60. Feels so good.

They are saying the opposite in Northern California- it’s really hot this week after a somewhat cool summer.
