Today I will run with our great American Flag for 11 miles around Grand Rapids. While our troops are fighting our enemies on the other side of the earth, we can do something to send a message to the world.......WE WILL NOT FORGET.
So if you jog, take the flag along. If your friends go out to lunch tomorrow, take Old Glory out too.
Don't doubt for a minute that the world will be watching to see if we have forgotten

I was able to snag a copy of a CNN DVD about 9/11 that was put out shortly after. It was pretty darn non-partisan about everything which was surprising. It has the footage from that day that CNN took, and it also has a copy of the footage of the first plane hitting, and it has the horrific images of the people jumping out of the buildings. I watch it every september 11 and get angry all over again.

Its was a good run. Plenty of car horns beeping. My legs will be beeping tomorrow. But today Old Glory did 11 miles and a light wind made sure she was looking good all the way.

YOU’RE SERVANTS OF THE PEOPLE, NOT ROYALTY. STOP SPENDING.
