So we’re hearing that ACLU attorneys allegedly showed photos of CIA agents to Guantanamo Prison terrorist detainees (Ed Morrissey, “ACLU, Gitmo Lawyers, exposed CIA agent identities to terrorists,” August 21, 2009, http://hotair.com/archives/2009/08/21/aclu-gitmo-lawyers-exposed-cia-agent-identities-to-terrorists/). If they did, it’s one of the most blatant examples of protecting the criminal instead of the innocent. It’s also an act of treason. Morrissey reports that some photographs of CIA agents were shown in front of their homes. It’s hard enough to fathom a hostile world, but to know that Americans who possess a warped version of liberalism are threatening our country’s safety is especially disheartening – and infuriating.
Not that the ACLU lawyers’ actions – if they turn out to be true – are the first examples of liberal ignorance when it comes to dealing with terrorists. Col. Gordon Cucullu’s excellent Inside Gitmo: The True Story Behind the Myths of Guantanamo Bay reveals countless tales of enemy coddling. Military personnel are under constant stress as they go to ridiculous lengths to ensure the terrorists live in comfort. Most of the Gitmo detainees gain a lot of weight, so good is the food (which chefs specially prepare three times a day, by the way). Every measure is taken to keep these American haters living in the kind of comfort no other American prisoners – not even the Club Fed Crew – receive.
Of course, the far left-wingers are constantly crying foul; that the way the Gitmo Goons are treated is near barbaric. If these photo-sharing allegations are true, it’s not surprising, but rather an extension of the way that sympathies are radically skewed when it comes to American terrorism.
Consider that during Christmas and Easter, the Gitmo detainees receive more cards and gifts from US citizens than the soldiers guarding the suspected terrorists! Never mind misplaced loyalty, reflect on the irony in that last statement!
Consider also that that our soldiers are assaulted, kicked, spit and vomited on. That human feces and sperm are hurled at them. That they are subjected to constant belittling. That if they are struck by a prisoner and they strike back, they are demoted in rank. Yet it’s the Gitmo detainees who are allegedly being harassed and about whom the ACLU is most concerned.
These suspected and known terrorists are also being defended by groups of radical attorneys that offer pro bono representation (Michelle Malkin, Culture of Corruption). Marc Falkoff was on a team of attorneys that provided seventeen Yemenis – all enemy combatants – with more than 3,000 hours of pro bono representation. Falkoff then wrote a book of verse, Poems from Guantanamo: The Detainees Speak. He dedicated his text to suspected terrorists and started with the words “For my friends” (Malkin 120-121). Malkin reports that one of the Yemeni Gitmo detainees that Falkoff described as “gentle thoughtful young men” was released in 2005 and blew himself up along with thirteen U.S. soldiers in Mosul, Iraq in 2008 (121). Once again, Falkoff shows that the actions of morally inept liberals are fatal to American citizens.
Long before Obama took office, the Left consistently embraced those who most want to hurt America and our way of life. Once The One was slotted into place, however, things grew worse. There were the first presidential phone calls he placed – to people who hate us. There was the Close Gitmo order signing. There were the international apology tours. There was the decision to move the Gitmo Goons to US soil and try them in American courts.
Then came The Big Gift: Obama ordered that terrorists captured on foreign soil be read their Miranda Rights. Until recently, Miranda Rights were read exclusively to American citizens and those arrested on American soil. Up to now, that last edict was perhaps the most blatant proof that libs would rather walk on eggshells around, rather than stir the wrath of, our enemies. Not anymore, if these allegations leveled at the ACLU lawyer squad have teeth.
The unapologetic left and anti-American zealots are endangering our country and its people. In 2005, Michael Savage called the ACLU “the head of the snake” for its concerted efforts to dismantle American liberty. Here’s more potential evidence that the ACLU works daily to remove our freedoms as defined in the Constitution. Their efforts have proved destructive to our culture. Now they’re sacrificing our safety.
If ACLU lawyers really did show pictures of CIA agents to the enemy, serious consideration needs to be given to toss these losers into Gitmo with the detainees.
Well, as long as they didn’t show them any pictures of Valerie Plame, it must be okay . . .
It would be an act of treason to provide aid and comfort to the enemy.
Try them and if convicted, execute.

But not altogether surprising. These are Marxists with an agenda...they are the enemy, which is why they colaborate with them. Their goal is the destruction of the United States of America as a free, strong and proud nation. It’s as simple as that.

Isn’t this the same bunch that published pics of CIA and FBI operatives during the COld War and then again to Black Panther and domestic terrorist groups in the US?
We simply MUST get over oue aversion to calling a traitor what it is- TRAITOR.
