President Obama Speaks to the Veterans of Foreign Wars - Video 8/17/09

Here is video of President Barack Obama speaking today at the Veteran's of Foreign Wars meeting. Obama criticized the "defense establishment" and Congress for creating "exotic projects" that he says drains the defense budget. Obama assured veterans that he will see to it they are taken care of, and said their health care would diminish at all under his plans for Health Care Reform.

Obama received polite, but what I would characterize as muted applause from the veterans during his appearance there. . . . . (Watch Video)

Would love to see someone go around and gather clips of all the Democrats trashing the VA a couple of years ago. Then point out how the VA is an example of a current Govt run health care system.

I'm waiting for him to show us how smart he is about modern warfare and geopolitics. I'm waiting for his "HARD DIPLOMACY" that he kept yapping about as opposed to Bush's soft diplomacy.. or whatever the f##K that means.....
