Matalin Says the Meaner Husband James Carville Gets "The More They Are Losing" - Video 8/16/09

Here is video from CNN yesterday where GOP strategist Mary Matalin was on with Democrat Strategist husband James Carville talking about the Health Care debate.

Carville was his usual nasty self, launching into an attack on Sarah Palin and conservatives in general as being "nutty" for believing in Creation and holding traditional values.

But Carville's wife Mary Matalin skewered him when he finished the attack by saying:

Here's a rule for your viewers going forward for Sunday: The greater the Carville level of vitriol, the more they are losing."

Matalin's rule is true across the board for Democrats and the Mainstream Media. They have really raised the "level of vitriol" in recent days, and it is a sign they are feeling desperate. They know they are losing on Health Care right now.

Matalin said it is not "nuttery" to logically see that the "end of life" counseling in the original House bill could only lead to a rationing of care for the very old and the very sick.

Matalin also said that the Obama Team has made a "tactical mistake" in demonizing the anti-ObamaCare protesters.

Carville ended the segment by again saying what his wife said is "Nuts." . . . . (Watch Video)

I hope she then patted him on his pointy head and said, "yes dear".

That’s an interesting question. I’m acquainted with a guy who has or had a close professional connection to Carville. He is a liberal Democrat so his political beliefs did not influence his opinion. He said that, to put it simply, Mary is a saint. But Carville is a different person at home and with their kids. He’s not nasty when away from the office or the cameras. The on-air sparring lends some spice to their otherwise tranquil relationship.

That’s what the guy said, anyway. Me, I’d have shot Carville a long time ago.

Because it's all theater. Malkin would say Kabuki.

Mary and James — the true Beltway insider couple. She is always right and he is always wrong and gets nastier when the pressure is on.

I never quite get that particular relationship either.
Mary Matalin is one of the smartest, sharpest, toughest conservative women out there, and attractive to boot, and yet she marries this guy and stays married to him.
Who knows? Maybe ole serpent head is not as evil as he appears to be. There gotta be some good in the guy if Mary Matalin loves the fella.

I ran into Carvile (that's intentional) at an airport with his family and a "friend" and he was busy snapping at the "friend" and in general being exactly who he is...a vile, demon-possessed, self-absorbed creep.

I have no sympathy for MM...she knew what she was getting. It's his daughters that I feel sympathy for.

Carville is just getting miserably pissed because he is literally seeing his proclaimed “40 more years of Democratic Party dominance” swirling down the golden toilet.

I’ve always looked a Carville as a political equivalent of a professional wrestler.

Bad Cop / Good Cop = they still get camera time. I like my kind of brainwashing; I don’t watch talk shows that have people on I don’t agree with.
