Political races are about candidates and issues. But election results, in the end, are about numbers. So now that the dust is settling on the 2008 presidential race, what do the numbers tell us?...History will favor Republicans in 2010...
Boehner rose from the political dead in 2006 to become House minority leader. And he has managed to survive again, despite a major leadership shuffle after big GOP losses in the 2008 elections. Boehner arrived in the House in 1990 and has long been known as a reformer. As a top lieutenant of ex-House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.), Boehner quickly claimed the House GOP Conference chairmanship...
Rarely do Republicans mention Cantor without calling him a rising star. And his star is only likely to shine brighter now that he has nabbed the post of House Minority Whip. After just one term in the House, the Virginia representative was handpicked by then-House Minority Whip Roy Blunt (R-Mo.) to serve as his deputy minority whip in 2003...
Hensarlings nickname around Congress is budget nanny.Miller, John, Rep. Budget Reform, National Review, Dec. 31, 2008. The four-term Texan is a rising star in the Republican Party due in a large part to his efforts to promote Conservative ideals. I like Pence and Hansarling. Boehner and Cantor?
Bonehead is not a leader, he is a follower. If the big Mo has changed, it is because of the grassroots, not leadership from him, the RNC or the check-pants republicians.
Bonehead should be replaced.
Cantor is a RINO. Boehner is a little better than Cantor.
...or could it be that grassroots conservatives are lighting a fire under their cowardly, castrated, collective @sses.
Don’t get all excited about republicans in congress. Given the number of sell-outs—like Boehner—democrats will DEFINITELY get a health care bill passed. It may not be the complete, Constitution-crushing version Hussein et al would like, but it WILL create the foot-in-the-door the left wants. And pi$$-ant, spineless republicans like Boehner, Grassley, Grahamnesty etc will be first in line to claim VICTORY for the American public for having defeated the evil democrats, all the while signing on to democrat thug, Plan B.
