I have watched several hearings conducted by Conyers over the years. He’s lucky there’s no IQ test for members of Congress; as are many of the others.
Years ago a Senator or Congressman who did not read the legislation before he voted was deemed a laughing stock by his colleagues, now its the other way around.

I hope everyone here will diluge his offic with phone calls and emails. I’ve been doing it and adding that “he” is a very good reason to pass term limits for Congress.

Actually, the joke is on the entire Congress. Typically, NONE of them read the bills they vote on, they rely on a lobbyist to explain to them what is in any given bill. Somehow, this one slipped under the radar - some years back, the Congress accidentally voted on a bill that restricted their ability to pass their own pay raises. Today, as the result of voting to pass this bill, they can only give the NEXT Congress a pay raise, NOT the current one!!
That’s true.
However, it is now the ACTUAL POLICY of this ‘administration’ and no longer just the backroom deals and underhand efforts of elected officials … trying (each in his own way and for his own personal reason), to subvert the process.
It is a full court press (all above board and totally visible) on the Constitution of the United States.
Since ‘O’ was placed in the nomination by the MSM and subsequently voted to office by a couple generations of sleepwalkers supplied by the NEA … the revolution (because I can’t call it anything else) will take place in FRONT of the camera with all the ‘appearance’ of propriety, without a fight, without bloodshed AND without the consent of the governed.
God help us.
I wouldn't bet the farm on this. Dems in Congress and Obama supporters are abandoning him faster than ever in recent history. There are more shoes yet to drop this fall (IMO) that should be the final nail in his political coffin. If he's able to hang on after that (I'll be surprised), he will be so weak and so politically wounded that no one will pay any attention to him.
