You'd think MSNBC and CNN would change some of the lineup and the venom they spew everyday at Rush, Palin, Talkradio, Tea parties and anything else in the conservative momement, but they don't and the audience is punishing them with these new numbers...

Two things struck me about that list. First, I’m surprised that ESPN doesn’t do that well, to say nothing of ESPN2 or ESPN3. Second, MSNBC is getting shellacked by the Cartoon Network. How appropriate.

A few people are smart enough to know ESPN is Time Warner aka CNN. I will not watch ESPN.

Lou Dobbs should jump ship and go to Fox.
Lou would kick the Leprechaun’s arse in ratings and BOR(e) would get moved to a minor Fox show like Jerry Rivers.
Fox would be great with Lou, Beck and Hannity. BOR(e) can go back to Inside Edition and Shep Smith could go to the Gay, Lesbian and Transgendered Channel.

"A few people are smart enough to know ESPN is Time Warner aka CNN. I will not watch ESPN." Actually, ESPN is owned by Disney, which also owns ABC Network. Time Warner owns the cable delivery system that many people receive their cable signal from, but not the network themselves.

I should add, that Time-Warner does own several other networks including CNN, TNT, TNN just to name a few.

Sorry - you are correct. Same wh*res. Disney is just as bad as CNN. Time Warner does own CNN, TCM and TNT as far as I know. Viacom is CBS and MTV.

Viacom, which somehow manages to stay off a lot of people's radar, owns a bunch of networks. In addition to the ones you mention, I'd add The Comedy Channel, CMT, VH1, Nickelodeon, TV Land and Spike. What should also be remembered, is "Rock the Vote", which is an incredibly biased and effective "get out the vote" machine for the under 25 crowd, is funded and promoted by MTV, which of course is owned by Viacom.

The food channel is also laying a major smackdown to MSNBC. How will the DU crowd spin that one? More people watch the Iron Chef cooking live ells than listen to impotent Oberman spout hate and lies.

One can quickly understand MSNBC's fealty to leftist doctrine or, more precisely, to support for the Obama administration as soon as one follows the money. MSNBC and the other two, NBC and to a much lesser extent, CNBC, act as shills for the administration so billions can flow from the government to General Electric. That is recognizable and understandable, if deplorable.
But what is in the game for CNN?
It ought to be a lesson to those of us who are naïve enough to think that the culture of American universities can be altered by making a logical case on issues.

The History Channel is pathetic in its own right. I’m amazed it ranks so high. They’ve run programs implying that Lincoln was a homosexual and other obviously biased crap. They ran one the other evening about Patton’s army fighting in the area of Metz during WWII. One of the components of that army was an all black tank destroyer battalion—the 716th I think. These guys fought magnificently and Patton made particular note of it at the time—and not because they were black either. According to the “historian” shill who talked about it on the program, their most important contribution was to be black so they could be discriminated against.

Saw Patton 360 also, and you are right - also after introducing the 716th and setting them up for a major part in the battle, HIST quickly moved back to other units, only mentioning in passing the 716th role in winning the battle; HIST storyline - black soldiers are useful for somethings, but mostly for propaganda.
HIST has lots of revisionist and leftist crap - maybe they are fair and balanced also? Sometimes the channel is so bad - flat out slanted and historically wrong, I cannot watch.

If USA is #1, then everyone must be watching NCIS and House re-runs. I know that we do, if there isn’t anything else on that we haven’t seen. We can take about 2 minutes of BOR and usually not that much. 8pm-9pm-10pm CDST there are a few good shows on BBCA, SYFY, and FOX. Otherwise, that is what Netflix is for.
