You know president Obama's health care reform proposal is in trouble when the Washington Post starts to take potshots at it.
From the Washington Post
PRESIDENT OBAMA sometimes presents health-care reform as a pain-free proposition, as simple as choosing the red pill over the blue -- one that's no more effective but costs twice as much. Asked at his news conference whether "the American people are going to have to give anything up in order for this to happen," Mr. Obama's basic answer was no. "They're going to have to give up paying for things that don't make them healthier," he said.
This all-gain-no-pain stance may be politically advisable; people are increasingly edgy about how reform will affect their own health care. A new poll by the Kaiser Family Foundation shows that that the percentage of those who believe they will be worse off if reform passes (21 percent) has doubled since February.

And some government bureaucracy is going to decide what is good for them. This is perfectly in keeping with Obama and other liberal's thinking that the average Joe Sixpack is too dumb to make the "right" decisions in their lives so big daddy government run by smart people like Obama have to decide for them.
While everyone knows that managing costs will require rationing care, that element won't get a candid assessment. They won't dare.
IN reality we have to acknowledge that a health care going through congress in the next 18 months will be constructed and approved by democrats. That means that while caring for the aging, or treating some serious problems like liver disease, melanoma or MS may be denied, such liberal necessities like tattoo removal, psychological counseling, aroma therapy, massage and drug dependency will get the full attention of any program devised.
Remember too, that democrats cannot restrict their thinking to domestic agendas. Any health care plan adopted by our congress while in democrat control will have to include a fair addressment of WORLD JUSTICE, no matter what the cost.
Yes, each home will cost the paper an upfront cost of $300 to $400 - but there's NO INK, NO PAPER, No delivery cost. Newspapers SELL INFORMATION - NOT printed paper.
Don’t people get it yet?
There will be NO answers to questions that are not pre-planned and have pre-planned answers.
Hard questions will not be accepted and obozo has been instructed by his owners not to speak any answers and only read those that are pre-recorded on his electronic master.
This sentence says absolutely nothing. No information was passed on, no specifics were given, just another vague Bozoism.
A little Foggy Mountain Breakdown.
Alas, King Obie is going to get to the point where even the banjo won't be able to save him.
Does anyone believe that Insurance Companies haven't been wringing out as much waste as they can for decades? Hasn't "stinginess" been a knock against insurers forever? Then what leads us to believe that Obama can wring more cost out of the system, up to half a trillion dollars worth, over what the insurers have already done?
The only logical answer to that is only Obama can cancel costs that the insurers cannot cancel: coverage. That's right, the primary "savings" left to harvest are in eliminating procedures and treatments that only an entity with sovereign immunity can cut.
Under the category of life imitating fiction, consider: would Rudy Baylor ever have won if the defendant was The US Government instead of Great Benefit? And for the bonus round, would a bone-marrow transplant ever have moved out of "experimental" status under a gubermint-run healthcare system? would it ever have been invented?
the former senator from Illinois is not capable of answering questions with actual information. this was obvious during the campaign when he answered by parroting whatever clinton said. he knows nothing. he has no ability to learn. have you noticed that this buffoon just tells people what he wants in vague terms and then votes present, allowing others to do the work of making policy and hammering out the details? this is why we have an economy killing cap and tax bill, and a people and economy killing healthcare bill.he does this deliberately. he does not say what, specifically, he wants so that other people get caught in the crossfire when it is not popular. the congress will eventually get tired of being the fall guy for the senator, and they will push back. they will have to. if they do not throw him under the bus they will lose their jobs. the media is already trying to cover for oblabo and blame the repubs for everything. this is not working, people know that the dems are in charge (those idiots bleat about it loud enough all the time), and the voters are getting very tired of all the garbage being pitched out of congress. 2010 should bring a real change for the better in congress, at the very least it will be interesting to watch.
Obamacare will require a gun-free society. Maybe not in the first version, but disarming America will be one of its’ main goals.
