Um, if you can learn sex outside of marriage, surely you can learn about it in a marriage. Just takes two humans and a really strong, in-born drive. duh.
I saw a thread the other day about a “Christian” group that was pro-abortion because the Bible didn’t not explicitly say it was wrong.
That logic opens up a host of possibilities including making love to a cantaloupe, tree, etc. since the Bible doesn’t explicitly say it is wrong...

People lose sight of the fact that it doesn’t matter what we “think”. My understanding of the scriptures and Christianity is that any sexual relations outside of marriage is wrong. What I “think” or “feel” doesn’t matter. God, in His infinite wisdom, has given us instructions on how to live and behave. I don’t always understand why - but I do know our Heavenly Father Loves us very much, and these “rules” were given because of that Love.-—JM

As a woman, the biggest turn-on ever for me is being in the arms of the man I love. The rest just comes naturally. It’s sad, young people today are being sold a $hitty bill of goods - and by churches, of all things.

Paul was specifically addressing eating the meat sacrificed to idols. But for the mature Christian it’s a guide regarding those issues that are not specifically addressed in the Word.
The problem is there are a whole lot of “christians” that care more about finding loopholes to license their sin than in seeking to do Jesus’ will.
They are liars plain and simple.

I think they do and disregard scriptures because it “cramps their style.” Being a Christian isn’t always easy. It has given me great Joy - but we also have struggles. A lot of churches now only emphasize Joy, but they also have a duty to talk about the hard things, and that often means going against what the world says. As sad as I am for my country, the moral decline of some of our “churches” pains me more, because at the end of the day, Christ is our only true hope.-—JM

In the Old Testament it is taken for granted that women would be virgins when they married for the first time--see Deuteronomy 22 where it refers to "tokens of virginity." Priests were required to marry virgins (no widows or divorced women).

Someone mentioned that abortion is supposedly not forbidden in the Bible. However, a man who strives with a pregnant woman and kills the baby inside is guilty of murder. Unborn children are described as living souls. Even John the Baptist rejoiced while in the womb when in the presence of the unborn Jesus. We might say the Bible doesn’t forbid the murder of middle-aged schoolteachers or farmers in the field, because they are not specifically mentioned! But killing of all human beings is forbidden, except for the defense of self or others or for capital punishment.
actually isn’t there something in Pslams or Solomon about sex between husband and wife in proper context being a Godly pleasure or more close to the Lord’s presence.
