PHOENIX (AP) _ Phoenix police have arrested four boys between the ages of 9 to 14 for allegedly raping an 8-year-old girl last week.
Sgt. Andy Hill said Wednesday that the boys face charges of kidnapping and sexual assault.
Police allege the boys lured the girl to an empty storage shed on July 16 and restrained her as they sexually assaulted her.
Police say all four boys are being held in a juvenile corrections center.
Child Protective Services has taken custody of the girl after police say her parents blamed the assault on her.

AER they Muslims or did they bring this crazy idea with them from Africa (they’re immigrants)??
I believe the majority religion for west Africa is Christianity along with indigenous religions and a minority Muslim population.
I could be wrong, but really religion likely won’t have as much to do with it as tradition will.
Horrible. This website also has a number of pictures of young women (mostly in the UK) who have been victims of “honor killings” or assaults. Muslims are nuts.

Depends where they’re from. Nigeria has a large muslim population. It’s all tribal bs. One tribe becomes Christian, so the other one becomes muslim, etc.

PHOENIX (AP) – Maricopa County authorities say four boys ages 9 to 14 have been charged in the sexual assault of an 8-year-old girl whom they had lured to an empty storage shed with chewing gum.
The county attorney’s office says 14-year-old Steven Tuopeh is being charged as an adult with two counts of sexual assault and kidnapping while the other boys are being charged as juveniles.
Authorities the 9-year-old is charged with one count of sexual assault, a 10-year-old is charged with two counts of sexual assault and one count of kidnapping, and a 13-year-old is charged with three counts of sexual assault and one count of kidnapping.
Phoenix police Sgt. Andy Hill says the boys held the girl down while they took turns sexually assaulting her.
The boys are being held in a juvenile corrections facility while the girl is in the care of Child Protective Services.
All the children are refugees from the West African nation of Liberia.

I am all against rape, but if one of the rapists was 9, I’m not sure I’d throw the book at him. He is too young to be responsible for his actions, I think, and needs intervention.

I can’t see charging either the 9 or 10 year old with any crime. Not only are they very young, but they’re also apparently growing up in families that share a “culture” with the victim’s parents. No way could kids that age develop any sense of right and wrong if their parents would turn away their 8 year old daughter because she’s been raped and “brought shame” on the sorry excuses for adults. The 13 and 14 year olds have presumably been attending public schools and getting enough of a clue about the real world that at their age, they certainly knew this was very wrong and considered a crime in this country.
Federal immigration authorities should get involved here. The girl’s father definitely needs a one-way trip back to Liberia. Once he’s gone, they should then have a chat with the mother — if she actually still agrees with this sort of sick thinking after her husband is safely out of the way and she’s free to say what she really thinks, then ship her back too.
Where were the ages of the boys? I missed that.
