Fox News is on a tear. Its ratings have surged and its competitors have declined, not just in share, but in total numbers. When Fox News began in 1996 it was given little chance for success. But by 2001 it began surpassing CNN the only other all news cable channel at the time. The hunger for better balance, so lacking at CNN, vaulted FNC into the lead. It now has prime time demo ratings larger than its two competitors combined. From Media Life Magazine:
"When Barack Obama arrived at the White House six months ago, there was a lot of speculation that conservative media outlets would see ratings shoot up as unhappy Republicans turned to shows whose hosts were critical of the new administration's agenda."
"For the cable news networks, that appears to be the case."
"Fox News, the No. 1 cable news network and the most right-leaning of the bunch, is surging. At the same time, CNN is sinking, with its ratings sometimes slipping below those for liberal-leaning MSNBC."

good, even if a tad late.
Fox on TV isnt bad, but Fox online is just as liberal as the rest of them. Whoever is in charge of the www.foxnews.com website, is a bleeding liberal. They are trashing Palin with regularity online. Remember, people who work dont get to watch TV, so they check the website, and that is where the liberal Fox employees get their kicks.
So goes Fox, so goes America? We’ll see, hopefully 2012 won’t be like an Iranian election.
Ain’t all it seems. Young folk are abandoning television altogether. Churchill supposedly said that if you’re not liberal when you’re 25, you have no heart and if you’re not conservative when you’re 35, you have no brain. My Mom and Grampa love the Fox News channel, and keep it on even when they’re not watching. Some of my young, single, Obama-devotee coworkers virtually live online and in their smartphones and don’t even have TVs.
I would prefer the stomping to be of a literal nature, rather than a figurative nature.
