In the last news cycle there were a lot of stories written about Obama’s visit to Russia. But one story that didn’t appear anywhere in the American media (that I saw) was about the Russian leaders refusing to shake Obama’s hand.

The video is actually kinda creepy. I don't know exactly how to react to it. I mean, he is our president. I certainly wouldn't refuse to shake his hand, no matter how much I despise him.

As much as I despise everything he stands for, he is the US President and this is disgusting behaviour by the Russians. The left wing media here miscalculated badly by not making this well known - it would actually work in Obama’s favor because most patriotic Americans are fair, give respect when due and expect it when due and would side with him, gaining him political capital. Dumb dumb dumb.

Extending your hand expecting to shake somebody’s hand is exactly how Obama’s hand is.
When you are supposedly introducing somebody with a similar gesture, the palm is facing up...not to the side.

I don’t think it’s a hoax at all...it really looks like he sticks his hand out, it doesn’t shaken, then to cover up the snub he keeps sticking his hand out as if he meant to do it, to cover up for the fact that no one is shaking his hand.

I would absolutely refuse to shake his hand.
Because...after being snubbed more than 3 times since entering the room, he finally realizes it and then lamely pretends he is introducing instead of attempting to shake hands.

Hasn’t anybody in here wondered just why the video jumps from when they first start walking to the line (after Dmitry Medvedev motions with HIS arm to call Obama in that direction)...to the end of the reception line?

In the unedited version, it is absolutely clear that he is being snubbed. The “introductions” line is pure BS spin on a sanitized version of the video.
Can we say they have discernment, principles and convictions?

Still need names to who they were. Five of them. If they’re Russian then I’d say it was a snub. Obama wouldn’t be intro’ing the Russians. The picture in post #12 comes from the Washington COmpost site saying they are the ‘American delegation’. but I wouldn’t take their word on it.
Identity the red and white lapel accoutrement on the guy next to one shaking Medvedev hand it looks foreign. And identify the identification cards hung from his neck. You get a better look at them in post #12 pic. Then we my get somewhere to who these people really are.

Please stop this insanity. Those are members of Obama’s inner circle. I am sure that I could come up with their names in 2 shakes but I believe it would be a complete and utter waste of time!

You know, I thought the same thing. When I watched it the first time from a link on here last week - I really thought I saw what looked like snubs one after another and then saw the look of confusion on his face right toward the end, when he rolled his eyes. I went back to view it again after I replied to the thread...and it was already different. I thought I was mistaken the first time I saw it, but you’re right...it’s obvious something’s been cut out.

However - it was rather strange that the second video seemed edited.
