Obama Seeks to Quash Opposing Health Care Views from His Own Supporters

So when he tells you he's interested in debating the issue, he's lying to you. Am I wrong? Look at the left. They no longer have Bush to blame. There are no Republicans in power. So they revert back to the only thing they know how to do. Throw temper tantrums and throw blame. Even if they're only blaming themselves.

President Obama, strategizing yesterday with congressional leaders about health-care reform, complained that liberal advocacy groups ought to drop their attacks on Democratic lawmakers and devote their energy to promoting passage of comprehensive legislation.

Dissent in the ranks? Liberals base their entire strategy of governing on blaming conservatives. Since there are no conservatives in power at this time, they have to blame somebody, and so they blame Obama for not being commie enough for them. Since Obama has never been blamed for anything, he doesn’t know how to take it.

I hope that it is true but my own daughter has fallen in with the obamabots and every time I talk to her she seems even more excited and certain that they will get his socialized medicine plan rammed through.

I feel its partly my fault. My husband provided best he could for his family but after he died things have been difficult. His pension does not not include any health benefits really so Ive had to depend on medicare after having a stroke a couple of years ago. I think that sets the wrong example for my kids because now my daughter keeps saying that everyone else deserves something like medicare too at least if they dont have insurance. My son has health care through his job thank God but my daughter works only part time with no benefits and has existing health problems that keep her from getting insurance. I keep trying to tell her that obamacare is just another step toward socialism but she insists she has no faith in insurance companies and will probably die young if it doesn’t happen. Ive shed so many tears over this and asked her to just pray with me and put it in Gods hands. I told her yesterday Ive decided to stop going to the doctor and stop using medicare to try and set the right example and she just got angry with me.

I think it all goes back to that year she spent as an exchange student. Living with all those socialist europeans gave her the wrong ideas and my dependence on medicare and social security probably hasnt helped. I would send back my social security check if I could but I just cant stretch the pension check that far.

I love my kids and I know they have good hearts I just dont know how they ended up so liberal! It seems the whole younger generation is going that way, which really makes me wonder if there is any hope for the republican part or the country.
