I believe her reasons for resigning are exactly as she stated.

You think someone who resigns under the weight of investigations and public scrutiny can get elected to anything again?
A person has to campaign to get elected, remember.
And someone who couldn’t handle their last job isn’t going to win higher office.
Anyone Palin runs against will now say she’s unstable, she’s flaky, she can’t handle the pressure, and she resigned under a cloud of investigation.
How many votes do you think that kind of rap would lose?
You honestly think she wouldn’t lose any?
She already proved last year that she has fewer people willing to come out and vote for her than 0bama does.
You think resigning after 2½ years in office will get her MORE supporters, not less?
It wouldn’t take but the loss of faith in her by a small percentage to ensure she’s finished for good. And any politician who resigns sees the public quickly lose faith in them in significant numbers.

"I believe her reasons for resigning are exactly as she stated. "

Palin: "“Don’t explain: your friends don’t need it and your enemies won’t believe you anyway.”"
