So far, there's been very little analysis or speculation over why the June job's report was so bad. That makes some sense for several reasons. First, one month's numbers almost always doesn't give anyone enough data to make any fair determination. Second, it's almost impossible to know exactly what caused the economy to move anyway.

We are moving forward on our rally in Washington D C.
We are working non stop in preparations for this historical event to be held Sept 12-13 2009 at the Lincoln Memorial Reflections pool in front of the Lincoln Memorial.
As for the time, The million man march that took place a few years age took over 2 years to organize, we are trying to push this through as fast as we can.
To protest in DC you have to have a permit and have approval to use a certain piece of land.
We called ahead of filing for these things. September 12 &13 were the next available days they had.
The other organization, resistnet.com, which was putting together a march for May 30, didn’t do this so they were refused their permit. Now they are joining with our group. So, we are doing this absolutely as soon we can.
To have a successful march takes time and organization.
Why are we protesting ?
1. To get the attention of the mainstream media.
2. To demand That Obama Provide proof that he is eligible to be president.
3. To demand that Congress and the Supreme court uphold our constitution.
4. To inform the public on the issue of Obama’s ineligibility to be president of the USA.
5. To demand that they can not take our constitutional rights away.
PRESIDENT OBAMA, WE DEMAND THAT YOU BE TRANSPARENT NOW
We will come together in a peaceful rally.
We are proud Americans who fear that we are losing the America we all know and love.
The America where millions have served in our military sacrificing their lives so that we remain free.
A people who honor their flag and understand what it means to fly it and are so proud to do so.
It is time for our voices to be heard loud and clear. Our government is for the people and by the people.

I was operating under the assumption that the Fed snake would eat the Treasury tail to keep rates low.
Now, I’m not so sure. It’s a hairy tightrope to walk between inflation and absorbing All That Debt and the Fed seems not quite anxious to walk it with abandon, like Bambi and Timmy want them to.
It is equivocal that a bond market dislocation could bring 0bama down. If it does, then the rest of us will be living in a financial near-collapse and a recession/depression far worse than what’s currently going on. Be careful what you wish for, in this case.
I certainly agree that no one should be rooting for this. This will be economically painful to all. That said, I think it would bring perpetual, recession and possibly depression, until November 2010 and then Democrats will get crushed. Then, there will have to be a reverse in policy and we’ll begin to get out of the recession.
There is NO WAY that Obama can fix the economy (unless he turns into a tax cutting supply sider overnight).
Take the medicine sooner rather than later.

The effects would be gruesome, we agree. SOME degree of systemic pain like that, IMO is entirely unavoidable. The open questions are: Does it take the form of a violent collapse, or can it be drawn out into a long but more “orderly”, yet undoubtedly very painful episode; and how those alternatives play into midterm and ultimately 2012 elections. I don’t know, I am not a good predictor of the distant future; as well being generally pessimistic.
But honestly, I have little faith that out of such a morass, “cooler heads” will prevail. I find that question unpredictable and that is a seriously terrifying gamble, at least as far as I’m concerned. We get a sustained U6 print much over 20% (we’re at 16.4% now) and a commodity collapse and we will have much of America’s urbania lining up at soup kitchens. With the current Congressional cabal and the 0bama regime in charge of things, there can be no doubt that more and more onerous regulation and centralization would occur, be applauded, and they and their followers would play it for all it’s worth. At some point, EVEN IF a dramatic electoral turnaround occurs, tremendous amounts of that administrations’ efforts will have to be devoted simply to erasing the obscene graffiti and structural vandalism this bunch of street punks has scribbled all over everything.
I also have little faith that the mere election of the other party in either house of Congress or even the Pres would magically flip things around. (and I know you weren’t suggesting anything so pat) The debt that is the legacy of this era knows no party, the implied interest would be a considerable load for even a healthy economy to shoulder.
No Prob! if the chicoms wont buy it, uncle sam can start buying it’s own debt.
I personally worry less about the long term problems of the debt than I do over the short term problems of the deficit. With the economy in constant start stop, we can only hope that the Republicans see this as an opportunity to run as true fiscal conservatives and talk about tax cuts and cuts in government spending. That’s how they could ride electoral victory in November of 2010 and we can all only hope they follow through.
okay.....when you say “monetized”.......could you explain it for we country bumpkins out here.......do you mean “inflate” the hell our of the dollar??
as of now.........there are NO Rats now standing up for the country...none....they are marching in lock step with the little tyrant...they are suppling their gangster and maifia connections with ample business and protecting their own multiple crooked congressmen....

It means the gov’t will print the money, or make some sort of credit to the depository institutions. The fear of most is that this will lead to inflation. It will, but IMHO, the only way to begin to climb out of this mess. Remember, most debt is not indexed to inflation. If you $100,000 on your house, that stays the same. It may be that $100,000 is the new average yearly salary post inflation, so your house can get paid off, or becomes a much smaller percentage of your monthly income. This is the only reasonable way i see to have a quick recovery, and to reduce the deficit.
