[I’ve been hoping this is the route she’d take.]

Hi nit, I’ve been on another thread and haven’t seen her full speech. Quite a surprise to me. Were you hoping she would resign as Governor?

Hi potlatch! I was hoping Sarah would become the voice of the anti-statist/socialist opposition through public appearances of all types. I remember Ronald Reagan speaking on GE factory floors and on radio for years, patiently educating us about how the economy works, and how government should stay out of the way.

Sarah’s way ahead of me. I didn’t think she’d leave the governorship this month. Now that I think about it, it’s a brilliant move, foiling the Alinsky method of tying her up with bogus allegations, and using her ethics reform against her with unwarranted technicalities. She described in her speech how her duties as governor have been hampered by the frivolous lawsuits. She would not be able to freely campaign for other candidates or make special appearances without howling by her opponents that she wasn’t tending to Alaska’s business.

Most beautiful of all, she declared her independence on the eve of Independence Day, and served notice she will fight for our freedoms. The MSM has no clue what just happened.
