I listened to her entire announcement. It was honorable, it was direct, and it punctuated the insane politics of our day...it also punctuated her personal commitment to fight, and to do so when it would not distract further from her job as Governor and the foundation she has built there.

I am proud of her and support her. She is a great American.

I believe she will assist others greatly in 2010, and will run herself in 2012...and she has my full support.

There are so many opinions today about Sarah’s decision. I’m interested only in those from people who watched/listened to her entire speech today (such as yourself). She put her accomplishments out there unfiltered, and she was clear about her reasons and her next moves.

She’s rolling up her sleeves to fight the good fight: helping others with their campaigns and speaking out on the issues. She’s going to roll up hundreds more Auburns (where 20,000 came out to see her in a democrat town of 28,000) out there. She will be heard, and will go straight to the people in a variety of venues for that to happen.

I’m reminded of Ronald Reagan, and I’ve been hoping this is the route she’d take.
