Supporting Women in Iran - Hour 1

Anyone who hasn’t heard the CNN interview with this woman in Tehran needs to check it out ASAP. It’s about 4 minutes long, and when you hear her crying and screaming ‘you need to help us, someone needs to help us’, you’ll have all of the talking points you need the next time you hear a Nobama supporter give their faculty lounge explanation ‘we can’t be too harsh with our words or we’ll just stoke anti-US sentiment. You know, after what happened in 1953. We’re doing the right thing by staying neutral’. When you hear this woman’s voice and her frantic pleas for help, you’ll understand beyond any doubt that anything we might have done in 1953 is completely irrelevant to Iranians at this time in history.
How?
That’s the problem.
If the President of the United States is voting present and going for ice cream, what can the average American, or Westerner do to help these brave people?
These people better fight back, no ones going to help them.
I wouldn’t sit back and take this.

And who in the world now believes that all 70 million people in Iran hate Israel? After the events that have unfolded in Iran over the past week, don’t you think it’s possible that MAYBE the Iranian government arranged a few demonstrations in the past to paint a picture of Iranian unity against Israel? Everything else their government has done since the election has been proven to be pure propaganda and an absolute farce. Why should the anti-Israel or anti-American rallies of the past still seem believable?
