They seem to be doing a lot of interesting things in response to the marking. They’re removing the marking with petrol/benzine/oil/turpentine. They’ve removing street signs or switching street signs to confuse. Also, removing numbers from houses.

My younger brother was very active in the riots against Noriega. One day, he noticed the pavement to the entrance of his garage had been “decorated” a little with luminescent green paint. He found out this was the way of singling out homes for Noriega’s thugs to invade when they were ready to make their move against the population.
